Team report
Spring break isn’t over yet. There’s still plenty of fun to have with family and friends.
Skiing conditions change with the temperature, and after yesterday’s spring-like weather, the mercury dropped below freezing last night and this morning.
The lifts scheduled to operate today according to the regular schedule (see below)
I, IIo, II, III, IV, VII, and the magic carpet, which serve 56 trails and glades
Several trails have been groomed to provide you with beautiful terrain that should entertain and satisfy you. All you have to do is make your choice. There are 56 trails and glades to explore.
At 5 a.m., the temperature was -4°C under clear skies, and according to this morning’s forecast, there is a possibility of snow showers, which could soften the surfaces.
Conditions:
On groomed trails, surfaces will vary from granular to hard-packed.
On natural snow trails and in the glades the snow has hardened and there may also be a crusted surface.
All of this is on firm to hard bases, and you may encounter slippery patches along the way.
Chairlift schedule:
I : 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Magic carpet: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
IIw: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
II: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
III: 9h a.am. to 4 p.m.
IV: 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
VII: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The open lodges are Altitude 400 (main lodge) and Altitude 840, with food and beverage service.
IMPORTANT
Alpine hiking trails will be reserved for experts this morning due to the very hard packed and slickly surface. However, the trails will be accessible to all in the afternoon as conditions soften.
The alpine touring trails are all open. See the trail map, schedules and link to purchase passes and tickets at montsutton.com/alpinetouring
**Changes are always possible after patrol inspection and some trail segments may remain closed.. Also, at your arrival, check the daily report: it will show you which trails have been groomed
