In order to participate, just send in a picture of a place where you would like to be more often with a short text explaining why you would like to be there more often. The grand prize winner will be presented with a Zone Image camera worth 1000$. Cyclists who are too tired to peddle any further, who have broken down or who simply don't want retrace their route, can now call the taxi-velo - a " bike taxi " - to get them back to base. This innovative service is available all along the designated bike trails, every single day, around the clock. You don't even have to book in advance. Just call and a taxi will come to pick you up within the hour. The vehicles can carry four cyclists and their bikes. And the cost? $40 for the first 30 kilometres and $1.45 for every kilometre thereafter. To order a taxi-vélo, call 1-877-766-VELO (8356). In addition, some persons wanted to underline their satisfaction in a personal manner. Certainly, the ski conditions and view are extolled. However, it is the quality of the employees which this year created the most enthusiasm. Parking and chairlift staff, Ambassador-guides, member of the ski patrol, staff in the kitchens or at the ticket office, the whole personnel deserves praises for its good mood and helpfulness.

SUTTON's team is already working on the 08-09 advantages and VIP evening which should be revealed sometimes in July. posted on 28-03-2008 March 15th and 16th of this year, on 2008, SUTTON, My Mountain Resort! organized the Rodeofest. It is the biggest Freestyle competition in the Eastern Townships. The event lasted a whole weekend and presented a Big Air, a Best Trick and a Slope Style. A hundred riders, professionals and amateurs, took part in the event. The audience was dazzled by their jumps and their tricks.
The winning amateur skiers were Kevin Poirier, Philippe Cormier and Renaud Robert. Amateur surfers Maxence Parrot, Michael Legendre and Alex Beauregard also took first place. Among the pros, Dominic Laporte-Côté, Paul Bergeron and Michael Ness were judged the best. About $10,000 in grants and prizes were distributed.
The 2008 Edition of the Rodeofest was a success for SUTTON, My Mountain Resort!, as well as for the athletes and the audience and proves that its reputation of best Freestyle event still remains.

Of course, the staff has been recycling cans, asking bus drivers to shut down their motors, buying phosphate-free detergents, and so on, for a long time.
Recently, SUTTON has added even more significant actions to the list such as the installation of new thermostats, purchasing snow guns that consume less energy and publicizing carpooling, such as the March 25 “Carpooling Day”. Right now, the resort is studying the possibility of adding more energy-efficient snow guns and turning restaurant residues into compost.
Find here the document "SUTTON's Conscience" with some concrete actions of the moutain. posted on 10-03-2008 For the first day, we were treated to good performances in Super G from our boys; a 7th place for William Schuessler-Bédard, a 16th for Olivier Garceau, a 33rd for Vincent Bissonnette and a 59th for Olivier Lavigueur. Regarding the girls, Alexina Lamoureux began the Critérium with a 6th place followed by Hilary Bonneville for a 20th place, Stephanie Terriault for a 28th place, Michèle Laflamme for a 57th place and Amélie Tremblay for a 62nd place. Frédérique Morrissette unfortunately did not finish the race. For the second day, the first day of the Giant Slalom series, the girls have continued to perform with a 2nd place for Alexina Lamoureux and two girls in the top 15. As for the boys, their performances were more modest with the best result being a 27th place for William Schuessler-Bédard. The good results have continued to accumulate among the girls during the 2nd day of the Giant Slalom with Alexina Lamoureux for a 3rd place, Hilary Bonneville for an 8th place and Stephanie Terriault for a 12th place. The boys have performed better this second day of Giant Slalom with an 8th place for William Schuessler-Bédard, a 22nd for Olivier Garceau, a 25th for Vincent Bissonnette and a 55th for Olivier Lavigueur. The first day of Slalom took place on the 4th day. Hilary Bonneville began the series with a 3rd place followed by Stephanie Terriault for 9th place and Amélie Tremblay for a 31st place. For the boys, note the superb performances of William Schuessler-Bédard for a 2nd place and Vincent Bissonnette for a 15th place. And finally, the fifth day to crown it all: the gold medal in slalom of Alexina Lamoureux and the 4th place of Hilary. For the boys, William Schuessler-Bédard finished 8th, Olivier Garceau 27th and Olivier Lavigueur 48th. The Super Kombi discipline, a virtual race, combined the 1st day’s Super G with the 4th day’s Slalom. Again, we were treated to a superb performance with a 4th place for William Schuessler-Bédard and a 2nd place for Alexina Lamoureux. Finally, the general standings: a great performance from Sutton! For the boys, we find William Schuessler-Bédard in 6th place followed by Olivier Garceau in 28th, Vincent Bissonnette in 33rd and Olivier Lavigueur in 61st. For the girls, Alexina Lamoureux ranked 2nd, Hilary Bonneville 4th, Stephanie Terriault 12th, Amélie Tremblay 55th, Frédérique Morrissette 72nd and Michèle Laflamme 76th. Congratulations to all the SUTTON racers who participated in the Critérium. Alexis Moquin-Papin, a member of the Sutton Ski Club won the race, his first victory ever, in 1: 40: 73.
" I am really satisfied", said Alexis. I attacked and I took advantage of the good skiing I did during training, this week . The skier from Sherbrooke was delighted that his efforts finally paid off with a victory. Four other young Quebecers were among the 10 first skiers. The Cup Pontiac GMC Cup is a Canadian series of races aiming at developing future champions. It helped certain members of the present Canadian Ski Team such as François Bourque. The Pontiac GMC organize events leading to the Pontiac GMC Cup Championships The first championship races of the 2008 Edition took place in Whistler, British Columbia, in February. This new section also called "Access SUTTON" is very easy to surf and use. The first time, the user fills a short questionnaire of identification before moving to the window where to write his message. Subsequently, typing his password is enough to get in.
From now on, you will be able to put up for sale either some ski or snowboarding equipment or pieces of furniture or even a vehicle.
